Join the Integration through the Arts Committee at the South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race and help us use the arts to promote racial equity, foster authentic relationships across cultures, and build a stronger, more inclusive community.

This is a working committee—we’re looking for hands-on volunteers who are ready to help plan, promote, and support a variety of arts-based programs that reflect and celebrate our diverse community. Volunteers play an essential role in everything from organizing community art events to creating space for collaboration between professional artists and residents. Your time and talents can help break down social barriers, elevate diverse voices, and bring high-quality arts experiences to people of all backgrounds.

Whether you’re a visual artist, musician, dancer, theater-maker, educator, event planner, or simply someone who wants to make a difference through the arts, we’d love to have you on board.
