We are saddened by the news of Congressman Donald M. Payne Jr.'s passing. Like his father before him, he was a supporter of the Community Coalition on Race. His presence at events like our annual Dr. King Observance showed his support for Dr. King’s dream of “that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands...." He will be missed.
