The Coalition Youth Collective is a youth-led organization that highlights social injustices through artistic expressions and activism. They meet weekly (by Zoom for now) to discuss issues and plan for their community-based activism. Two projects they have completed so far include:

Black Lives Matter Celebration: A virtual celebration of the SOMA community's affirmation in support of Black Lives here and around the world. Local youth share their voices and their talents through dance, spoken word, singing, and more. See the event here.

'Dear MAPSO: The Conversation.': The Youth Collective hosted this virtual discussion with the South Orange - Maplewood (SOMA) Community to express their experiences as youth in this community using art, youth-facilitated break-out groups, and a Q&A between community members and a youth panel.
