Working with La Casa de Don Pedro, the Coalition on Race's Residential Committee is providing this workshop on homeowner and tenant rights. Resources for preventing foreclosure and eviction will be provided. La Casa de Don Pedro is a Newark-based nonprofit whose mission is to foster self-sufficiency, empowerment, and neighborhood revitalization in the Greater Newark and Essex County area. One of their core community program services is to counsel families facing foreclosure.
