Many thanks to producer Julie Snyder for speaking before SOMA parents and community members interested in achieving racially integrated and equitable schools. Ms. Snyder shared many important insights from both her experience in producing the 'Nice White Parents' podcast and as a parent in the South Orange-Maplewood school district. The presentation was enlightening and the breakout groups generated powerful key points for further discussion. Thanks also to Dr. Adunni Slackman Anderson for moderating, and to the entire Schools Committee for developing this event.
