Award-winning artist and instructor, Roberta Melzl, will lead two-member teams in designing and installing colorful mural-like wraps to beautify concrete planters on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood. The coverings will be created in a relaxed, indoor setting where participants will work together building bonds and strengthening their sense of community. Each team will then complete the planter installation in the last two weeks. Free sessions will be held on Monday evenings from 6-8 PM at Prospect Presbyterian Church, 646 Prospect St., Maplewood starting June 3 through July 8th.
