The Asian American community of South Orange and Maplewood are gathering around the Memorial Park Duck Pond in Maplewood, NJ for a moment of silence and candlelight vigil to mourn the victims of the senseless murders in Atlanta.
We invite the South Orange and Maplewood community to join with us to mourn the lives lost and stand against racism and violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. We ask families to light a candle and pray for the victims and their families.
