Get your luminaries ready for display on the evening of January 19th in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! Join us for an afternoon of art and fun at our annual luminary Decorating Party from 2 - 4 pm, The Baird, 5 Mead St., South Orange. Learn about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and decorate luminaries to place outside your home at sunset on MLK Day. Snacks will be provided. Luminaries will be available for purchase. They are sold in a kit of four for a suggested donation of $10. The Luminary Project supports the work of the South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race.
