Please join us for the virtual launch of the MLK Luminary Project 2021 on Tuesday, December 8th, 7:30-8:30pm.

Through the years, 1000s of area households and businesses have honored Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday by "sharing their light", literally, on porches, steps and walkways on the evening of the MLK Holiday, following the annual Observance and Volunteer Fair.

This year’s Luminary Project preparations need some adjustments, given the pandemic-related restrictions, and we welcome and need your help to involve as many neighbors and organizations as possible. On December 8th, we will gather virtually share information and gather ideas for how to bring this to all our neighborhoods. This year’s goal is to match last years - 1500 kits or 6000 luminaries - so your creativity and help is needed!

Please feel free to invite others who are interested in participating! A Zoom link and reminder will be emailed out 24 hours prior to the meeting.
